TRIAL (August 18, 2011)

Though many problems have come,
I don’t like to say that I won’t give in;
Though hardships give me some,
I won’t easily give my life within.

Rendering me to fall into sins,
I won’t let it happen to my life.
If they want to devour me, since
I have done well from my strife.

Isn’t it enough to endure these things
For me to make me strong?
Yes, it is enough—enough for these
Trials I am encountering.

All trials will come to me endlessly
And will always attack me relentlessly.
I will stumble and fall, but never silly
To call unto the Father in reality.

Lest I am down, thrown, destroyed,
I will rise up, pray and be helped
To the One whom I have prayed;
Yes, I will face them; yes, I have said.
