Obedience For Salvation

I have longed for It, o Father;
I have been waiting for the latter—
Destruction or Salvation—
For my dreary life I own.

I know I don’t live in this planet
Full of darkness and regret.
O when can I endure this world
If, in Your arms, I cannot hold?

Father in Heaven, I pray,
Give me understanding for me to stay;
Grant me obedience to conquer destruction
And for me to attain my salvation.

Please give me knowledge to know
What is right and what is wrong,
So that I will walk on the right way—
The way where Your Words can I obey.

Dear God, please help Your servant
From all the hindrances I couldn’t count.
Please fend me from what are evil
So as not to be tempted by the Devil.
